
Case Study: Art Wolfe, Inc
Challenge:
Art Wolfe, Inc. was growing faster than their internal systems could support. As the world famous photographer’s business continued to thrive and branch out in new directions, the technology systems that had once effectively supported the company began to hit their ceiling. As a result, data was decentralized, manual and redundant entry was frequent and error rates were higher than preferred.
Cypress Solution:
We worked in close collaboration with members of the Art Wolfe, Inc. team to first identify the major business processes in place currently. Following the development of this "as-is" process map, we then developed a similar "to-be" process map which showed the desired way that these processes worked within the company.
This "to-be" map was critical for two things. The first was that it allowed Cypress to create a GAP analysis develop a plan for moving from the "as-is" to the "to-be" processes. The second was that it allowed us to make technology recommendations supporting how Art Wolfe, Inc. wanted to see the business run - but not necessarily how it was running today.
