Northwest Information Architecture Services

Cypress worked with Hosting.com to develop the information architecture for their new website. We also did their branding and logo and web site design and development. Working with this Hosting.com we mapped out their key offerings, and did user research to understand how buyers typically shop for web site hosting.

What we discovered is that buyers typically approached hosting from one of two perspectives: platform, i.e. "I have a site using Microsoft technologies," or package, i.e. "I need a dedicated server." The resultant information architecture Cypress developed integrated these two approaches to Hosting.com's offerings and made each accessible from the home page. As a result, web-based sales are up.
