Case Study: New Web site and Training Registration System - Healthyi

Challenge:

Healthyi's mission is to become the global standard for health education in areas such as diabetes, obesity and heart health and to improve patient decision-making, behaviors and actions by transforming the way in which they experience and internalize health-related information. Healthyi required a new best of breed web site to showcase their company and also to provide a gateway to information and functionality needed by patients, health care providers and trainers. Cypress was engaged to plan, design and implement the new public site and a complex admin area for Healthyi to administrate various facets of the site and their business. The new Healthyi.com was the result.

Cypress Solution:

Cypress and Healthyi worked closely together to plan the site information architecture and the administration requirements and specification. A full creative concept phase was completed that resulted in the new look and feel and color coding system for the three main site areas. Detailed storyboards were done for every page of the administration system, allowing for a visual reference for the client to understand the functionality and refine their complex needs. Online registration for their product training sessions was one large components of the site, along with multiple SQL databases that tie Patients, Health Care Professionals, Training Instructors and Venue information together. All of the groups have individual account sign in access to their private areas where they can view relevant information and accomplish tasks related to training registration and management. The system is now allowing Healthyi and instructors to manage registrations for hundred of training sessions around North America. Some of the other site functions Cypress developed in clued overall site content management, management and delivery of online video, an email newsletter collection, and a robust sales prospect management and personnel management toolset.
