Case Study: Website Design - Seattle Seahawks Kids Club

Challenge:

The Seattle Seahawks hired Cypress to develop and launch a new website that was focused on delivering the content fans were asking for - behind the scenes footage, interviews, press conferences and practice video. However, this left out a significant demographic of the Seahawks fan base - children in their early teen years and younger. The main website being launched is targeted at an older-age demographic, and the Seahawks feared that the new site might lose some of their younger fans.

Cypress Solution:

Working with the Seahawks Fan Development and Community Relations groups, Cypress developed a Seahawks Kids Club website specifically focused on younger fans. The unique look and feel adheres to the overall Seahawks brand but is light and playful, and highlights the special content and features developed for this important subset of the overall Seahawks fan base.

The Kids Club site features contests and polls, and kids can download videos and audio clips developed specifically for them - including videos of kids interviewing Seahawks players. In addition, the Kids Club features Flash games such as the Josh Brown Kicking game and the Blitz running game.Continue >
