
Microsoft DVR Website Case Study
Challenge:
Microsoft was launching its DVR product, which required web-based activation. Users who purchased the set-top box needed to be directed to go to a website, where they would register for one of the available service levels, pay, and then have ongoing access to manage their account via the website.
Cypress Solution:
Cypress worked with our partner thePlatform to design and implement an eCommerce and user registration website that allows users to subscribe to the service and manage their accounts ongoing. While Cypress developed the Information Architecture and Design for the Program Guide Website, thePlatform utilized aspects of its Media Publishing Platform to support the eCommerce and user registration requirements of the project.
