Database Architect / Developer

We are a Seattle-based consulting group with core competencies in Business Consulting, Technology Services and Creative Design. Our projects range from small site add-ons to large enterprise system development and implementation. We are seeking a Database Architect / Developer experienced with experience in business intelligence and data warehouse modeling. This team member designs and constructs enterprise-scale relational databases for data warehousing. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, writing stored procedures, and experience building large scale and high performing SQL server solutions including expertise in enterprise database architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of practical, commercial experience building large scale data warehouse solutions
• The candidate must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, OLTP, Data Cubes, and Data Modeling.
• Good knowledge of web related technology, networking (TCP/IP, load balancing, ACL, routing), IIS server is an added plus as well as experience with .NET Framework, C#, Visual Studio.NET and other web related technologies.
• Ability to collaborate with virtual teams comprising project managers, business analysts, developers, and others to build quality customer solutions
• Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards, and products.
• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
• Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able prioritize and execute tasks in a busy environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.
