Filemaker Developer

We are a Seattle-based consulting group with core competencies in Business Consulting, Technology Services and Creative Design. Our projects range from small site add-ons to large enterprise system development and implementation. We are looking for team players that are driven, can self-manage, hold themselves to a high level of quality and communication, and are comfortable working remotely.

We are looking for a senior Filemaker developer, familiar with current versions of Filemaker - including 7 and 8 - as well as previous versions. Our clients range from organizations that want to web-enable an existing Filemaker database to organizations who need to upgrade their internal Filemaker business systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining databases for a variety of client projects;
• Incorporation of FileMaker data into a client web sites, ranging from simple content display to complex event registration systems;
• Responsible for functional specifications, hands-on development and deployment of the applications and web sites;
• Full testing of code produced and complete de-bugging of bugs reported through bug-tracking database prior to launch of code;
• Interact with clients on critical application designs and development, as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• The successful candidate will have 3+ years experience developing in FileMaker Pro, with at least one year on FileMaker 7/8;
• Expertise in Lasso scripting to web-enable Filemaker databases;
• Familiarity with common Web technologies, including HTML/CSS;
