Site Builder

We are a Seattle-based consulting group with core competencies in Business Consulting, Technology Services and Creative Design. Our projects range from small site add-ons to large enterprise system development and implementation. We are looking for team players that are driven, can self-manage, hold themselves to a high level of quality and communication, and are comfortable working remotely.

The Site Builder is responsible for building and maintaining the front-end/UI for new and existing websites. Works closely with project manager and designer to create site templates, build sites, optimize graphics for the web, test and launch sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Front end duties including authoring in HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
• Building Web pages from layouts provided by designer;
• Full testing of code produced and complete de-bugging of bugs reported through bug-tracking database prior to launch of code;
• Cut up graphics and optimize for the web.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 3+ years experience with HTML, DHTML, XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS;
• Ability to take a PSD file as input and produce quality, hand-coded Web pages (e.g. XHTML and CSS, vs relying exclusively on tables for layout);
• Familiarity with slicing and optimizing graphics in Photoshop;
• Attention to quality and end-user needs, details, and follow-through with other team-members;
• Excellent organizational skills, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
