The Media Navigation Framework was created to provide a simple, easily customizable shell that can be updated to a custom data source and skin with minimal fuss. We wanted to make sure that the final product would allow developers enough flexibility to make it their own, while providing intuitive and easy-to-customize support for features new to Windows 8, such as the charms (Search, Share, Devices and Settings) and app bars. 

Cypress was fortunate to have Joanna Stern, Technology Editor for ABC News, give a very positive review of the Windows 8 application we designed for Slacker Radio. Joanna recently reviewed and featured six apps that will be available on the new Windows 8 platform, including an introductory video, where she provides an overview of some of the key features of the new OS.
