Microsoft .NET Reporting Services
Virtual Systems has a Microsoft .NET-based software product for the direct mail industry. This product used Crystal Reports to produce a variety of reports for Virtual Systems' customers; however Crystal was difficult to maintain and add new reports to. In addition, with Microsoft SQL Server now shipping bundled with SQL Reporting Services, Virtual Systems decided it was time to change.
Virtual Systems engaged Cypress' Seattle-based .NET development team to replace Crystal Reports with SQL Reporting Services; including the integration of SQL Reporting Services into their ASP.NET based product, and the recreation of existing reports and the creation of new reports. Cypress' .NET development team also trained Virtual Systems' internal staff to maintain this new module of their product, and add/edit/delete reports as necessary.
